Actor and country-pop singer and song writer Jana Kramer rose to fame through television, where she was part of the cast on One Tree Hill as Alex in its final three seasons. The series featured her first albums as country music which helped her debut album to the Billboard 200 to the Top 20. Thirty One, her follow-up album from 2015, reached in the Top Ten. The singer ended the decade with appearances in Dancing with the Stars and in several TV movies alongside an assortment of singles that were not album tracks. It was released in 2021 as the self-doubting Voices. The girl was born and raised within Rochester Hills Michigan Jana Rae Kramer was raised on country music and would eventually be pursuing a recording career. However, she began her professional life as an actor making her onscreen debut in the 2002 indie horror film Dead/Undead when she was still in her teens. Through the years she was on numerous series, including All My Children and CSI: NY before landing the recurring role as Noelle Davenport in NBC's Friday Night Lights' 2nd season (2007-2008). Kramer would go on to play Portia Ranson in 90210 (2008-2009) and Brooke Manning, in Entourage (2009) and then was cast in One Tree Hill by the CW as Alex Dupre. Kramer remained with the One Tree Hill team until half way through its final season (2012). Jana Kramer During her run on the show Kramer signed a recording contract for her record label Elektra Records and debuted the contemporary love song for country music I Won't Give Up on a 2011 episode on One Tree Hill. It was later featured on her debut album Jana Kramer in mid-2012. This song landed in Billboard's Top Country Albums chart, which is in the Top Five. Kramer continued to appear in movies such as Heart of the Country 2013 or Country Crush 2016 which would appeal to her fans. In October of 2015, Kramer dropped her debut album thirty One from Warner Music Nashville. I Got the Boy - the album was a Top Five Country hit - as well as Steven Tyler, Aerosmith's lead singer, in a duet made to make it into the top 10 of the Billboard 200. In September she stayed for two months on the season 23 of Dancing with the Stars, which ended with an overall fourth position. Also, it was the year when she scored a contemporary-adult smash, with the song Feels Like Christmas featuring Straight No Chaser.
